Emily Nail

NAIL, MRS. EMILY TILLMAN, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Hoover, Alabama, entered into her heavenly rest on September 28, 2008. Emily was born in Waycross, Georgia on February 5, 1930. She was preceded in death by her mother and father in Waycross, Georgia. She is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College, Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to being a beloved mother, caring grandmother, and loving wife, she served faithfully alongside her husband in Baptist churches in Massachusetts, Maine, Texas, and Alabama, with ministries in youth and music. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Eugene R. Nail of Plano, Texas; her daughter Rebecca Ralls (Nelson) and granddaughter, Sarah Ralls of Plano, Texas; her sister, Joan Mulligan (Gus) of Vista, California; her brother, Joe Tillman (Katherine) of Savannah, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, October 3, 2008, at Green Valley Baptist Church in Hoover. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Pall bearers will be Jeff Hester, Steve Doak, Arthur Rush, Matthew Gray, Richard Krout, James Roberts, Nelson Ralls, and Ray Bendall. Music will be provided by Mrs. Gloria Hayes, Rev. Marion Eubank, and Mr. Joseph Smith. The Eulogy will be delivered by Dr. Patrick Stewart of Huntsville.
