of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at the age 63. She was past auxiliary president of Auxiliary 253 of the National Association of Letter Carriers and worked for Southern Progress for 15 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hudson and Ester Robinson; a brother, Joe Ed Robinson; and a granddaughter, Jessica Laney Coggins. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, James E. Mayfield of Bessemer; two sons, SFC Jason L. Mayfield (Regina) of Hattiesburg, MS and Christopher M. Mayfield of Midfield; two daughters, Tammy Coggins (Tony) of Oak Mountain) and Donna Fendley of Bessemer; seven grandchildren, Lance and Blake Coggins, Jordan and Bryce Mayfield, Jasmine, Justin, and Qmani Mayfield; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2007, from 5-7 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2007, at 11 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Pastor Tom Fant officiating.
