Elois Brown

Mrs. Elois Gosa Brown, 85, of Fayette County, AL passed away on March 12, 2021. Elois was born on June 8, 1935 and graduated as Valedictorian from Marion County High School. She went on to work as a Banker and retired from Regions Bank (previously AmSouth). After retiring, she became Vice President at PNC Bank. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the lake, and being with her family. She was a devoted member of Valleydale Baptist Church.

Elois is preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Gosa and Morris Odwell Gosa; sister, Robbie Swanner; and parents, Robert and Ella Gosa.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Brown; sons, Darryl Brown (Jennifer) and Barry Brown (Cheryl), and grandchildren, Anna Grace, Beau, Reed, and Connor.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from the funeral home chapel with a one-hour visitation prior to the service with Pastor Ross Robinson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
