Ella Anderson

Mrs. Ella Corinne Anderson, age 97, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011. She was an artist and loved to paint. She was a draftsman during the war at the Maritime Commission in New Orleans. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Oscar Anderson. She is survived by her two sons, Gerald Anderson (Trudy), and Dewey Anderson (Judy), a daughter, Ann Anderson Crabbe, four grandchildren, Gary Carroll, Jr., Matthew Anderson, Mark Anderson, Geri Beth Anderson, and a great grandchild, Brody Carroll. The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2011, from 11:30-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be at 1 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Reverend Tom Parrish officiating.
