Elizabeth Jouret

age 97, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006. She was a resident at Galleria Woods. Mrs. Jouret was born in Jeanette, PA and was retired from the Charleston Naval Ship Yard. She was a girl scout leader and was an active member in her church. She was a charter member of Park Circle Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC and an honary member of Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Hoover. Mrs. Jouret was the oldest member of the Philadelphia Winn Chapter, NSDAR, in Lawrenceville, GA. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay J. Padjett. She is survived by a daughter, Joan J. Cate (James); a son, Ray D. Jouret (Cindy); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25, 2006, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel officated by Rev. Pat Raybun, pastor of Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Hoover.
