Elizabeth Bush

of McCalla, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at the age of 91. She was a longtime member of Southcrest Baptist Church. Ms. Bush was preceded in by her husband, Baker Bush. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Margaret West and Jerri; a brother, Charles Crumpton; two sisters, Elaine Hulsey and Maudine McGee; three close nephews, Keith, Kirk and Kevin Crumpton; two close nieces, Joan Hughes and Judy Hand-Truitt; and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, and on Friday, October 21, 2005, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Southcrest Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Carl Benedict officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith, Kirk and Kevin Crumpton, Harry Hughes, Glenn Hand-Truitt, and Christopher Garrison. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
