Eldridge Holt

Mr. Eldridge Holt, of Hoover, AL passed away, Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the age of 58. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Homewood and a graduate of Birmingham Southern College. Blessed with an abundance of curiosity for life, learning, and mastering of new interest, he became an accomplished musician, playing piano, guitar and banjo. He was an avid cyclist. He enjoyed Auburn football and participating in historical re-enactments. He had an optimistic view of life and had a kind and courteous personality. He was a devoted family man and was always there for any aspect of his daughter's life.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Rhodes Holt, daughter, Katelyn Taylor Holt (Grant Neumann), parents, Jesse and Mary Holt, brother, Mark Holt, aunt and uncle, Howard and Ann Holt, and aunt, Kathy Brooks.
Funeral service will be Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 2 PM a t Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with interment following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
