She is survived by her spouse, Larry Maples of Orange Beach; 2 step-daughters, Tonya Capps and Mandy Phillips; 3 brothers, Johnny (Kathy), George and Chris Carden; 2 sisters, Joan Carden Bell (Ret. Col. Dr. Don M. Bell) and Jeanne Davis (Ronnie); mother-in-law, Helen Miller; brother-in-law, Steve Maples; sister-in-law, Barbara Bieker; 4 nephews, Jonathan "J.D." Carden, Lee and Reeves Bell, and Steven Davis; 2 nieces, Eva Carden Howard and Gina Davis Carden; and a great niece, Eden Kathryn Howard. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 23, 2005, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father John Fallon officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
