Edwina Ball

of Warrior, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2007, at the age of 79. She was a member of Bagley Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Henry Ball. She is survived by a son, Thomas O. Jones, Jr., of Warrior; a daughter, Patricia Motte of Warrior; 4 grandchildren, Brian Jones (Carrie) of Vestavia, Tammie McCoy (Kenneth) of Hayden, Kevin Jones of Gardendale and Chris Jones of Warrior; 5 great grandchildren, Kayla and Ashlyn McCoy, Melinda Petty, Vicki Tapscott, and Mia Jones; one great, great grandchild, Audra Tapscott; and a sister, Jenny Meetze (Fred) of Chapin, SC. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 8, 2007, from 6-:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Rev. Larry Gilbert officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
