Edith Lee

of Alabaster, formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at the age of 81. She was a member of Alabaster First United Methodist Church and was very involved in her Sunday school class. Ms. Lee enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of a bridge club. She deeply loved her seven grandchildren and her four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William L. Lee, Sr. Ms. Lee is survived by three sons, Bill Lee, Jr. of Jackson, MS, Mark E. Lee of Pensacola, FL and Matt Lee (Jill) of Alabaster; one daughter, Caroline Lee Smithee of Pottsboro, TX; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005, at the Alabaster United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice for its tender and loving treatment of Ms. Lee in her final days.
