Edd Easterling

of Helena, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at the age of 65. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served on the USS Wasp. He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration. As a CPA, he retired with the IRS after 34 years service. Mr. Easterling was a member of Kingwood Assembly of God. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a dedicated caregiver who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, WC Easterling and a brother, Buddy. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeneane Easterling; 3 sons, Eddie Easterling (Tessa) of Trussville, Jeff Easterling (Mandi) of Madison, MS, and Brett Jones (Nancy) of McCalla; a daughter, Jancey Driver (Justin) of Helena; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Mary Black of Laurel, MS; his mother-in-law, Vivian Voytanovsky of Helena; a brother, WC Easterling, Jr. (Cherry) of Laurel, MS; 3 sisters, Willie Anderson of Hattiesburg, MS, Elaine Ferguson (J.O.) of Moselle, MS, and Louise Johnson of Laurel, MS. Graveside services for Mr. Easterling will be on Friday, July 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Hwy. 150, Hoover, with Dr. Tom Cleveland officiating.
