E. Ezelle

of Bessemer, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the age of 84. He attended Canaan Baptist Church and was retired after 38 years from Republic Steel. Mr. Ezelle was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener who loved the outdoors. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ezelle; two sons, Larry D. Ezelle (Wezzie) of McCalla and Reggie Ezelle of Bessemer; one daughter, Patsy Ezelle of Birmingham; and a brother, Wayne Ezelle (Kathy) of Pickensville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Edward Green and Rev. Morgan Bailey officiatiing. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM at Pickensville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
