, of Pelham, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the age of 84. He served in the US Army Corp of Engineers during the D-Day invasion on Omaha beach. Red was a local contractor for over 50 years in the Birmingham area. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ted D. Hulon and Joe L. Hulon. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Marie C Hulon; four sons, Jeff Hulon (Kami), James Cleveland, David Cleveland (Jan), C V Farrow (Jennifer); a daughter, Diane Dawkins;fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 1-2:30 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
