Dorothy Mcclendon

Mrs. Dorothy McClendon, age 87, of Pelham, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. She was a member of Indian Springs First Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard McClendon. She is survived by her children, Ginger Ozburn (Paul), Victor Gulledge (Janie), Jimmy Gulledge (Becky), Reba McClendon Siener (Bill), and Mark McClendon; grandchildren, Steve, Jeff and Tom Ozburn, David, Rodney, Billy Gulledge, and Mary Summerlin, Susan Holcombe, Stacie Milam and Stephanie Siener-Herring, Jordin and Heath McClendon, 12 great grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1 PM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until 1 PM. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Becky, Patricia and Odyssey Hospice for their special care. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Indian Springs First Baptist Church.
