Dorothy Kinzinger

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Kinzinger, of Birmingham, passed away after a brief illness, Thursday, January 27, 2011, at the age of 86. She is predeceased by her husband, Harold Lee Kinzinger and her son, Robert John Kinzinger. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kinzinger Bennett(Edwin) of Las Cruces, NM, and Nancy Kinzinger Lynn of Birmingham; three grandchildren, Dr. Jason Bennett (Dr. Ginine Beyer) of Bethesda, MD, Amanda Bennett (Lt. Jacob King) of Atsugi, Japan, and Jennifer Lynn Pope (William) of Birmingham; two great grandchildren and a third expected in July. A memorial service will take place at 1 PM Monday, January 31, 2011, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
