Doris Peacock

of Alabaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at the age of 74. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxililary. She is survived by her husband, Singleton "Cooter" Peacock; a daughter, Donna Skinner (Billy) of Pelham; two grandchildren, Brook Gibbons (Robbie) of Pelham and Rae Ann German (Ken) of Prattville; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iris Seltzer (Bob) of Daucula, GA and Joyce Langston (Terry) of Centerpoint; a brother, William Hatfield (Marsha) of Alabaster. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2006, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Mike Byars officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
