KEENAN, DOOGA WYNNE, 70, of Hoover, passed away on July 28, 2006. Mrs. Keenan was a graduate of West End High School. She was a member of the Panama City Boppers and the Klickers Klub. Dooga ran restaurants and night clubs including Pat James, Emil's Cantina, and Michael's on 20th Street. She also worked at Hogan's Hidaway and Southplace. She loved to travel, never met a stranger, and she welcomed everyone into her heart and home. She devoted her life to her four children, placing their welfare above her own. She was well-loved, and her sense of humor and her laughter will be missed by all. Dooga is predeceased by her husband, Bill Keenan. She is survived by a son, Lance Wynne Keenan (Tina) of Gulf Breeze, FL; three daughters, Denyce Elaine Keenan Din (Akbar) of Parker, CO, Jessica Keenan Nichols (Jerry) of Homewood, Anastasia "Stacey" Keenan of Hoover; four grandchildren, Jerry Nichols, Jr., Victoria Nichols, Jeffrey Din, and Jannah Din; two great-grandchildren; and her parents, Gilbert and Mary Hodges Wynne. The family will receive friends from 6-:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Tuesday, August 1, 2006 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
