Donnie J. Guthrie, of Homewood, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gerald R. Guthrie; 2 daughters, Marcia Cullifer and Leigh Ann Wilson (Mark); 2 grandsons, Andy Wilson, (Joanna) and Luke Wilson (Lindsey); 1 great grandson, Jackson Wilson; a brother, James E. Halbrooks (Millie); and a sister, Dot Horton (Tommy). The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel, Brother Tom Leggett officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
