Donald Gray

Mr. Donald L. Gray, age 78, of Cahaba Heights, AL, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. He was married to Annette Rheinhart Gray and had one son, David S. Gray. He graduated with honors from Shades Valley High School. He served in the US Army and the Army Reserves. He was co-owner of Gray Coal Company for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Rheinhart Gray and his sister, Jane Gray Brooks. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all that knew him. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2011, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Layne Schranz officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
