Dick Hudson

Mr. Dick Hudson, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the age of 85. Dick was born March 29, 1928 in Clanton, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University with an Electrical Engineering degree, served as a Lieutenant in the Army, and as a deacon in Green Valley Baptist Church. His interests included golf, track, research into light and color, and gardening.He retired from Bell South after 37 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Juddy Ann; a son, Steve and his wife Catherine; a daughter, Cristy Fish and husband Richard; and granddaughters, Alison and Emily. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Dan Ireland officiating. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
