Dianne Brown

Dianne S. Brown of Birmingham went to be with the Lord on Friday March 13, 2020, at the age of 77.  She was born July 5, 1942 in Birmingham to Luther and Thelma South. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1960 with honors as Valedictorian.  In August 24,1962, Dianne married Raymond Brown and together they raised two sons Daryl and Tyler.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and valued friend. She spent the majority of her career and retired from Alabama Power. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Luther and Thelma South, and a sister, Jane South.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Brown; two sons, Daryl Brown (Michele) and Tyler Brown (Shena); grandchildren, Bethany, Daniel, Joshua, Marley, and Kellen.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 17, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.  A graveside service will be held at Concord Baptist Church 2:00 PM,  8158 Alabama Highway 69, Cullman AL 35058.
