Dennis Shipic

Mr. Dennis Andrew Shipic, of Hoover, entered into eternal rest July 1, 2012 at the age of 73. He was a beloved, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Dennis was born on November 30, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, the only son of John and Helen Shipic. He graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School and attended West Liberty State College. He enlisted in the US Army and served 3 years in Germany in the military police. He was employed by Swisher International until his retirement. He was a kind and generous man, and he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Hamilton Shipic; his son, Scot Shipic (Linda); daughter, Nikki Wandrisco (Johnny); grandaughter, Payton Paulovich; grandson, Corey Wandrisco; 3 step-grandchildren; and seven step great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be at 11 AM, Friday, July 6, 2012, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover.
