Dennis Etheridge

Dennis Edward Etheridge, age 65, passed away Friday, June 5, 2009, while vacationing with his wife, Sharon and granddaughter, Abby, in Chester, England. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Buddy Gray officiating. A private family committal service and interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Dennis was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Ensley High School and Auburn University, and was Auburn’s biggest fan. For over 40 years he was in construction management, estimating, supervision of estimates and scheduling for industrial and commercial projects. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon G. Etheridge, his daughter, Kristn E. Trammell (and her husband, Dan), his son, David Dennis Etheridge (and his wife Jenny), his granddaughter, Abigail Marie Trammell, Mother, Ann B. Etheridge and sister, Patricia E. Sherrill (husband, Joe). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS Alabama Chapter, P.O. Box 2888, Huntsville, AL 35804.
