Debra Ray

of Pelham, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007, at the age of 46. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham. Debra was a wonderfully devoted wife and mother to her husband and children who will be missed by all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilton Cox. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael Ray, Jr.; a son, Tyler Ray; a daughter, Natalie Ray; her mother, Evelyn Cox of Bessemer; two brothers, Glenn Cox (Donna) and Michael Cox (Darlene) both of West Blockton; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2007, from 1-3 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Mike Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
