OELSCHLAGER, DEBORAH LYNN, of Helena, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at the age of 52, following a short-term illness. She was born in McKee's Rock, PA, and was a life long member of Helena United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ted. C. Oelschlager of Vestavia Hills. She is survived by her parents, Ted and Sara Oelschlager of Helena; sister, Kimberly Oelschlager of Camp Pendleton, CA; nephews, Brian and Kevin Oelschlager of Vestavia Hills; and sister-in-law, Denise Oelschlager of Vestavia Hills. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Helena UMC. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church, Rev. David Holmes officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Oasis Healthcare and Hospice of Moody, AL, The Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
