Debbie Gipner

of Hoover, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, at the age of 56. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was employed by the City of Hoover and was active in the Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance. Debbie was a graduate of Thompson High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Phillips. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Terry Gipner; two sons, Gordon Gipner (Shelli) and Andrew Gipner (Kristin White); two daughters, Gina Miller (Rod) and Ashley Gipner; four grandchildren, Asher and Thomas Gipner and Jason and Gracie Miller; mother, Joyce Phillips; three brothers, Greg and Anthony Pace and David Phillips; and several nieces and nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be at 11 AM, Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Pastor Chris DeGreen officiating. The family requests donations be made to Southeastern Rett Syndrome Alliance, 7564 Windsong Drive, Trussville, AL 35173.
