David M. Maxwell

David M. Maxwell, 71, longtime resident of Hoover, passed away on July 26th. He was preceded in death by his father, Arvie D. Maxwell and mother, Mattie Sue Maxwell. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind, including: his wife, Cheryl S. Maxwell; daughters, Julie Maxwell and Lisa Terry (Andy); grandson, Cooper; sisters, Elizabeth Binkley (Cecil) and Cynthia Greene (Dempsy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

David worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Southern Company for over 40 years. David also enjoyed spending time outside doing yard work, spending time with family, and loved playing with his grandson Cooper.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL.
