David Winton

of Birmingham, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at the age of 55. He was an avid Alabama football fan and a loving father and son. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Winton; a son, John David Winton, Sr. (Julie) of Alabaster; a daughter, Suzanne Winton of Roebuck; three grandchildren, Jacob and John David Winton, Jr., and Jonathan Kendrick; mother, Julia Winton of Birmingham. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Will L. Garrett officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
