David Thrasher

David Paul Thrasher, age 51, passed away on February 28, 2023. David was born October 24, 1971, in Hammond, Indiana and was a resident of Vestavia Hills, Alabama. David graduated from McAdory High School and received his degree in finance from University of Alabama at Birmingham. David was Vice President of Data Quality at the Better Business Bureau in Birmingham, Alabama.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Thrasher and Mary Thrasher, and sister-in-law Cindi Thrasher.

David is survived by his sister Vicki Thrasher (Larry Dedina), brothers Dodd Thrasher, Scott Thrasher (Tracy), and Mark Thrasher; nieces Kara Thrasher, Rachel McGowan, Sarah Thornton, and Emma Thrasher; nephews Brandon Thrasher, Ryan Thrasher, and Nick Thrasher.

David was a beautiful soul with a kind heart and vibrant personality that made him a cherished brother and friend. David and his contagious laugh will be greatly missed. To know him was to truly love him.

A memorial gathering will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home at 2701 John Hawkins Pkwy in Hoover, Alabama 35244 on Saturday, March 11 from 9 to 11am.
