David Lewis, Jr

age 72, of Helena, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Eddy served our country in the US Air Force from 1955-1959. He retired after 33 years of service with the US Department of Agriculture, SCS, in 1994. Mr. Lewis was a member of the Riverchase Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Bearden Lewis; 2 daughters, Sherry Leemon (Joe) and Pam Mears (Doug); a son, David Lewis (Jackie); 4 grandchildren, Amanda Cargo (Casey), Amber Leemon, Brandon Lewis, and Shelby Mears; and 2 step-grandchildren, Shelbi and Blaire Sink. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2007, from 11:30-1:00 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Dewayne Spivey officiating.
