David Bridges

of Hoover, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2006, at the age of 63. He was formerly from Jackson, MS. Mr. Bridges retired after more than 30 years of service with BellSouth and was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Billie Bridges; a son, David Allen Bridges of Denver, CO; a daughter, Kim Bridges Tanner (Bill, Jr.) of Pelham; two grandchildren, Dexter and Mandy Tanner; a brother, Sam Bridges (Cathy) of Springdale, AR. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Buddy Gray officiating.
