Darlene Nastiuk

of Bluff Park, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the age of 63. She gratuated from Bessemer Tech with an LPN degree. Mrs. Nastiuk was a member of Metropolitan Church of God and a volunteer at Sav-A-Life in Vestavia. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wesly Nastiuk; 3 sons, Mark Allyn Nastiuk (Brenda) of Gerardstown, WV, Mark Edwin Nastiuk (Sharon) of Bedford, TX, and Glenn Wesly Nastiuk (Marilyn) of Rock Hill, SC; 2 daughters, Michelle Renee Gumina (Greg) of Chelsea, and Nicholle Elise Howard (Russell) of Moody; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 sisters, Gloria Kenney and Jean Sejrup (Earl); and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Vestavia Sav-A-Life.
