Danny Reed

August 11, 1946 — August 26, 2016

Mike Reed, age 70, of Mt. Olive, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Reed.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Emily Karen Reed Lay; his father, Lamar Reed (Joan); Bro-in-law, Rheuben Dawson (Joyce); three nieces, DeLaine Summerville (Mike), Tracie Barlow (Robby) and Ginger Hyde (Jason); six great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2 pm in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm at the funeral home.
