Danielle Johnson

August 13, 1985 — March 8, 2015

Danielle Marie Johnson died unexpectedly on March 8, 2015 at the age of 29 while at home in Pelham, AL.
Danielle is survived by her parents: Elizabeth "Libby" Romano Johnson West and Robert Daniel Johnson and his wife Caroline, along with her brother, Thomas Johnson and her sister, Tiffany Johnson; her grandparents, Mike and Mary McKinnis; James and Judy Romano; Dorothea Johnson and hosts of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her great grandmother “Nanny” Elizabeth Marie King and her grandfather "Opa" Thomas Johnson.
Danielle was a precious aunt, niece, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and friend to so many that will miss her. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed football Saturdays. Not only will Danielle be remembered for her love of family and animals, we will all remember her beautiful contagious smile. But, most importantly, Danielle was a Christian who valued her relationship with the Lord and we know she is being welcomed into Heaven by those having gone before her.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 9 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 611 Riverchase Pkwy West, Hoover, AL. Pastor Scott Hawkins will officiate the ceremony. A lunch will follow in the reception hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Shelby County Humane Society.
