Daniel Lofton

, of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the age of 31. Keith was a graduate of Pelham High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and later attended UAB. He was employed as an engineering analyst with Southern Linc Wireless, a Southern Company. A loving son and friend of many, Keith's wit along with his loving and caring spirit will forever be missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George L. Broughton, Sr. and Harvey W. Lofton. He is survived by his parents, Danny L. and Geraldine B. Lofton; his grandmothers, Christine Broughton and Doris Lofton; uncles, George L. Broughton, Jr. (Gail) and W. Ray Lofton (Carolyn); cousins, Trey Broughton and Tyler Lofton. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 9:00-10:30 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
