Daniel Kremer

went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 20, 2012. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday afternoon from a heart attack. He was a long time employee of Rust International, and more recently, Southern Company. Danny was known as a man of God. His family and friends cherished him for his sense of humor and generous nature. He was the type of man who, after working 10 hours, would then come help work on your car or move furniture until 2 AM. Danny was born and raised in Birmingham. He was a graduate of West End High School class of 1969. In 1974 Danny graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Danny will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, one who was always there in a time of need for another. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Irene Blanchard Kremer. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kremer; 2 sons, Daniel W. Kremer and Michael Kremer; his aunt, Mary Vise; 3 cousins, Bill Kremer (Eleanor), Morgan S. Hall, and Marina Dobbs. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Gideons International.
