Daisy Smith

90, of Midfield, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2005, Mrs. Smith was an active member of Lipscomb Church of God and served as Sunday School secretary and church treasurer for many years. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Carl David Smith, Sr. She is survived by her son, Carl David Smith, Jr. (Louise); a daughter, Mary Lou Spell; four grandchildren, Rhonda Smith Coleman (Ronald), Karen Smith Alfano, Wayne F. Spell, III and Cynthia Spell Humbert (David); ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Thompson, of Spring Creek, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 4:30 pm until 5:30 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, with a chapel service to follow at 5:30 pm. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
