Cynthia McAloon age 76 of Bessemer Al passed Thursday, on March 4, 2021.
Hailing from New York, Cindy migrated to Alabama several years ago. She was best known by those who loved her as Cin, Ma, and Nan. She was devoted to her family, always placing their needs above her own. She was generous to a fault, something that shown through her gift giving. Aside from her family, Cindy’s loves included “the morning call” with her daughter while sipping her coffee. She could be caught reading a good book, gardening, caring for her pets, and completing home projects with her husband, Steve. Weekend trips thrifting, attending flea markets, antiquing, and sitting on the back deck soaking up the afternoon sun. Cindy’s biggest thrills included listening to the daily life of her grandchildren, playing games, and sampling the latest beverages. Friend too many, loved by all. She will be unbelievably missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Horton; and brothers, Jack and Jim Horton.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve McAloon; sons, John Baisley (Judy) and Chris Baisley (Lisa); daughter, Stacy Smith (Bruce); grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Jackie Smith, Ryan Baisley, Cory Baisley, Christopher Baisley, Hope-Marie, Ashelynne, Raychelle, Jasmine, Isabelle, Jayden, Sophia Leah-Mae, and Emmya.
