Cynthia Emmert

of Hueytown, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at the age of 61. She was a member of Sylvan Springs Church of Christ. Sister was a special child of God and has now left this earth to be with him in heaven. She was loved by her family and friends dearly, and they will miss her, but she will always have a special place in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Glenn and Elise Mae Emmert and a sister Becky Amason. She is survived by a sister, Kay Magee, of Hurley, MS; numberous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Mr. David Courington officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
