of Cullman, formerly of Cahaba Heights, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2005, at the age of 79. He retired from military service after 42 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Bailey, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Waits Bailey, of Cullman; two sons, Barry N. Bailey (Kim), of Addison, and Greg S. Bailey (Tammy), of Hayden; five grandchildren, Eric and Brandon Bailey, of Pelham, Katelyn Bailey, of Hayden, Sawyer and Braxton Bailey, of Addison; five sisters, June B. Henderson (Ray), of Sylacauga, Anne B. Sharpe, of Vestavia Hills, Mary Noble (Ralph), of Alexander City, Betty B. Davis (Stanton), of Vestavia Hills, and Louise B. Sims (Virgil), of Vestavia Hills; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving caregiver and friend, Ann Teal-Cook. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Charles M. Christmas and Rev. Terry Phillips officiating.
