Craven Hill

Mr. Craven R. Hill, of Pelham, AL, formerly of Prattville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the age of 86. He was born and raised in Akron, OH and had a lifelong career with the General Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Brenda Hill, two sons, Rev. James Hill (Fairlyon) and Dave Hill, daughter, Judy Sargent-Williams (Larry), two step-sons, Bert Rankin (Debi) and Brian Rankin (Jennie), ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brother, Gene Austin Hill (Peggy), sister, Marilyn Mays and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 AM with Dr. Richard Trader officiating. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
