Courtney Stevenson

of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at the age of 23. She graduated from Hoover High School in 2004 and was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. She was actively involved in local theatre in the area and loved Broadway Productions. She was a loving mother and daughter. She is survived by a daughter, Grace Stevenson-Garrido; her father, Jackie Stevenson of Hoover; a sister, Elizabeth Stevenson of Hoover; grandparents, Vernon & Anne Stevenson of Daleville; a grandfather, Aubrey Dixon of Tuscumbia; three uncles, Dane Dixon, Mark Dixon (Debra) and Tommy Stevenson; and an aunt, Teressa King (James). The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 20, 2009, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 21, 2009, at 11 AM at Riverchase United Methodist Church, with Jim Savage officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
