Courtney Richardson

Courtney Richardson, born in Austin, Texas, wife of David Richardson, and mother of Nicholas and Mekenzie Richardson, died April 5th at Brookwood Hospital. She survived her mother, JoAnne Parsons, and her father, William Reed Parsons III. Courtney was loved by so many family and friends in her life and leaving love with everyone she met. Courtney was living her dream teaching ballroom dancing at Magic City Dance Studio while attending Jefferson State Community College to obtain a counseling degree. She graduated high school in Texas and her love of dancing brought her to Birmingham. She had been very active serving many positions at Shades Mountain Elementary in the past years with a passion for helping others. Memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mountaintop Church, 225 Centerview Drive, Birmingham, AL, 35216.
