Consue Morris

Consue Smith Morris, age 96 and a resident of Hoover, AL passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was a graduate of Dallas County High School, attended Athens College. She received a BS Degree in Commerce. Was active in many collegiate groups, President of Senior Class, voted Miss Athens College 1948. She worked at Stock & Valves and Fittings for 11 years in the accounting department and worked for Samford Universtiy/Cumberland School of Law for 15 years. Mrs. Morris enjoyed working on the farm and gardening. She Loved her friendship with many friends at Riverside, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband James Hamilton Morris; daughter, Vicki Morris Clark; her parents, Oscar L. & Thelma Smith and brother, Pettus Smith. She is survived by her son, Alan Boyd Morris; grandson, Jeff Clark and grandaughter, Ashlea Clark.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11 am from the chapel of Currie Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will recieve friends from 10-11am. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South.
