God took him home on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the age of 78. He graduated from Elmore County High School and was an avid Auburn fan. Cliff worked as a Salesman for Jim Burke Buick for 46 years, and was an active member of First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early and Ada Collier, and a sister, Lucille Eason. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who alway put family first. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy; a son, Terry Collier (Teresa); two daughters, Nanette and Debbie Collier; 3 grandchildren, Casey Whittemore (Paul), Corey Collier (Mallory) and Andrew Collier; a brother, James H. Collier (Frances); numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and special companion, Chloe. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 1 to 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Dr. Ralph Bates officiating.
