Clay Ragan

of Gardendale passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007. Clay was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, attended Vestavia High School and Auburn University. He is survived by his father, Joseph Ragan, Jr. (Patricia) of Hoover, AL; mother, Hester Ann Wykle (Lee) of Burnsville, NC; brothers, Joseph Robert Goocher (Lisa) of Denton, TX and John Arnett Goocher (Marie) of Davidson, NC; and a sister, Lisa Howard (Kent) of Vestavia Hills. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 15, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Southminster Presbyterian Church, Rev. Joseph Slane officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home of Hoover directing.
