Clay Pierce

Clay Pierce, 57, of Alabaster, AL, passed away December 30, 2013, after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Carolyn Pierce. Anyone who was blessed to have known him loved him. He was the most loving, caring, and giving man. He was a man of honesty, loyalty, and integrity, who loved his family with every ounce of his being. He worked all his life helping people and putting them first and succeeded in the flooring business. His face lit up the world when he saw his wife, kids, grandkids and family. He was an amazing husband, dad, papa and will be extremely missed.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Pierce, son, Dustin Pierce (Tricia), a daughter, Holly Webb (Adam), brother, Vic Pierce, two sisters, Melissa Dodge and Melinda Zyre, and three grandchildren, Makayla, Makinzie, and Kaytlin.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, 2014, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, January 3, 2014, at 2 PM at the funeral home with interment following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
