Clara Strong

STRONG, CLARA MAE ROY, of Bessemer, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010, at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James G. "Jerry" Strong; and daughter, Dolores Timbrel. She is survived by her son, James Strong (Linda); five grandchildren, Tim Timbrel (Ceci), Tammy Cuneo (Eduardo), Tabitha Radkevich (Anton), Amber Mellars (Michael), Robyn Strong; and eight great grandchildren; brother, N.J. Roy (Shirley); and two sisters, Catherine Taff and Joyce Wiggins. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:30 AM, Monday, February 8, 2010, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Patton Chapel Cemetery.
