Clara Nolen

Mrs. Clara Guy Nolen, 85, of Alabaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. She was a lifelong member of Siluria Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Callie Guy who were lifelong residents of Shelby County. She is survived by her husband of 63 years James Nolen; two children, Sheila Wallace (Brent) and James (Jimmy) Albert Nolen; three grandchildren, Leslie Viles (Brian), Tabitha Woodley (Dustin) and Amanda Merren; 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, at 3 pm in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the members of the Siluria Baptist Church for their support. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Siluria Baptist Church.
