Claire Bishop

August 24, 1933 – August 20, 2013 Claire was born in Birmingham, Alabama and made her permanent home in Hoover, Alabama. She and her husband spent many wonderful years living on the Warrior River enjoying the serenity of nature and God’s handiwork. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Riley Bishop and is survived by her children, Cathy B. Gibson, Cindy L. Bishop, Susan L. Hecht, Joey C. Bishop (Rebecca), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 followed by graveside services at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brother Bryan Mission.
